San Diego City Fest - September 11

Envision the largest party you've ever attended. Multiply attendance by 100 or even 1,000. That, my friend, is a Palau CityFest. These events have taken place all around the world. And now one is coming to our own backyard. And there's something for everyone: concerts and speakers, Livin' It Action Sports (FMX, BMX & skaters), Veggie Tales Family Fun Zone and much more. It's one party you don't want to miss!

BABY SHOWER FOR MILITARY MOMS!

Sundays September 5 & 12 @ Foster Elementary

Every month there are more than 200 babies born at the Navy's San Diego military hospital. Many of the families of these new babies need help with basic baby supplies and gear, especially if their spouse is currently on a deployment. We're partnering with San Diego M.O.M. (Military Outreach Ministry) to host a Baby Shower at church this Sunday and next Sunday. We want to love and support these families by showing the love of Christ in a very practical and tangible way.

Please consider bringing at least one of the following items to church this Sunday (9/5) or next Sunday (9/12) as a Baby Shower gift for San Diego military families. Here is the recommended gift list from San Diego M.O.M.:

Baby wipes

Diapers Sizes 1-5

Baby powder

Baby lotion

Baby wash

Baby bottles

25.00 gift cards (i.e. Wal-Mart, Target)

LADIES KNITTING/CROCHETING FELLOWSHIP
